Charge problem

I just got a used dark 2003 ir3. I put in the charger and it started chargeing. Aften a few minutes it stupped. I then plugged it in again and the same thing happened. Third time it didn't even start charging and I can't get it to charge now. What has happened and how can i fix it?

Now I can get it to charge but it always stops after a short while. Has anyone had the same problem and did you get it fixed?
