I just bought an Angel from this Ebay auction and I need help ID'ing the original model so I can get a manual,
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7169480508&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&rd=1
Note the guns description mentions a bunch of models.
I am a newb to Angels so it is tough for me to figure out what model the original is.
If anyone can intepret what model this gun is and tell me a little about the mods, that would be a lot of help.
Thanks

Wow that guy should be pimp slapped upside the head.
From what I can tell, you have an Angel LCD body, with a spaceframe [the 90* frame] and an A4 board. For the internals you look at a LCD manual, for the board functions you look at the A4 manual.

Whats the chance of it all working together?
How did you identify it as the basic LCD model and what year was this model?
What would identify it as a fly or later model?
Is this a bad deal for $400?

Its a really good deal. Its not a FLY. There are two kinds of FLYS the A4fly which is a model itself, and the fly milling [on the LCD and IR3] which are very different things.
The A4 board will work fine in the LCD body.
As for identifying it, the LCD had that milling pattern [I have one on my floor actually] as well as all the newer guns [SPEED and up] have two ball detents [one on either side] and that has one detent [old style] and a sticker on the other side.

Can you tell me if I need a tank reg with this LCD or if the regulator is in the front grip?
What is the operating pressure for the LCD?
Do you know if I need a special kind of tank?
Many Thanks for your help so far!

Any type of tank will work. Im partial to Bulldog tanks or the new racegun tanks. www.racegun.us.
Unless u have a tool kit you wont be able to test the LPR pressure on the gun or the reg. pressure. so we r just left guessing. Find a shop in your town that has an Angel tech and have him give it a once over. Unless ofcourse your located around Fresno, California then i would set it up for you.
All tanks come with regulators for the tank itself. The output of the tank depends on the maker and if its HP or LP. The regulator on the gun dropps the air pressure even farther and keeps it relatively stable so it wont blow out your solinoid.
If you like drops get a drop for it, if u like the tank right on the gun get a checkit uni-mount or look for a NW paintball on/off.
hope this helps

You need a high pressure tank btw, 800-900psi output.

The gun arrived from the seller, I am gravely dissapointed, no charger I'm afraid.
Can anyone tell me what kind of charger I need for an LCD with an A4 board?
Any good online shops?
Thanks

To bad your intro to Angels had to be like this. That's what ebay is good for. Good Luck.

you can usually find an LCD charger in the classifieds section of angel-owners. They're fairly cheap used but can be quite expensive brand new. The charger for the stock LCD would take a 6V 1000mah charger also stock for the Ir3 but beings that it has an A4 board in it I cant be too sure.

I case the owner changed the battery too, you should get the new chargers that will fit both 4.8v and 6v That way you wont fry anything.
