feedneck help

Hey i just got a ccm feedneck for my 2k1 lcd, but i need to get the stock feedneck off...i don't think it has ever been off. does anyone have any tips on how to take it off without killing myself or the gun? oh yeah, and will my gun have feeding problems with a halo and a cobra indestruct detent?

just twist the old one off, If you dont care about the old neck you can just take some plyers to it. You wont have any problems with a halo, if you do then the detent is probly old and needs a new spring.

no no plyers your scratch it. Go to the hardwware store and get a strap wrench

if you have double feeding probelms take send the LCD to an MT, they will install a second detent at 15 dollars i tihnk

thats why I said use plyers if you dont care about the old feed neck, the new one will just twist on.
