the snap ring is in the ram if you wanna say it like that. its the allen screw head in the center of the ram. it moves alows the bolt to lock into the groove you see under the breach, dont quote me but i tihnk thats right. anyone else?

Well JJ you got the location correct but you lost it on the rest of it.
The snapring is the screw on the back of the ram. Adjusting it in will tighten a ring inside the ram which in turn changes how much pressure you need before it will overcome the friction and allow the bolt to snap forward. [in=more pressure needed].
If there was no snapring your bolt would slowly move forward all the time.
www.wdp.tv/manuals for the correct adjustment procedure and a parts diagram.

You have to hold the ram in place with the ram tool to adjust it, otherwise the whole ram will spin.

I am trying to adjust my ram, but I need alittle help. The resistance that I would feel is from the bolt rubbing one side of the grove in the hammer, so do I want the bolt on the forward edge of the hammer grove or the rear edge of the grove?

I assume I want it on the rear edge but wasnt sure.

just put it in the hole....
make sure the ram is in the snapring tho, so it doesnt back out when you fire and the bolt pin hits the body.

You are correct you want it to click slightly as it hits the rear of the groove WITH THE MARKER GASSED. Only screw the ram IN with it gassed. If you go too far then degass it and screw it out before starting again.
