I wanted to ship my old IR3 to Impactpaintball for a Fly eye conversion and my Fly for a magmod (I live in Europe), but ran into the following problem:

According to US Customs a paintballmarker is a weapon and is therefore not allowed to be shipped to the US (only from). I tried UPS, FedEx and USPS, but they all said the same thing: "Sorry, we're not allowed to ship them to the US".

Anyone know if this really is true? (And is there anyone in Europe that does the conversion?)

i live in england and i have shipped a few over there. I dont know why they arent letting you.

Also, cant London paintball supply do it for you? They just did a lot of work for my 05 speed.

Why do you tell them its a marker/gun? Say it's shoes or something....

Doesnt WDP do it? I dont see why they cant, seeing as its their product. They are in birmingham, England. Or London International Paintball Supply.
Try them both out.

it will cost a bit more but you can send it in pieces...just seperate the trigger frame from the body so its not usable and they can't say nothing..

that's wierd, when i ship stuff they don't even ask, then again rules might be different comparing ours to urs. You could always ship the trigger frame in one box and the body in another box, it'd cost a little bit more but it'd definately be worth it. I dunno if WDP would do the conversion, since it's more of the MT's thing and not wdp. I don't see how it could possibly not get through customs when teams travel to the united states with gear bags full of 2-3 guns, tanks, etc. It might take a little longer than regular shipping, but if teams can get through, i9 don't see y one gun can't. If u do decide to ship it in one box, might i suggest taking the frame off the body and shipping the two pieces together, so that if it does go through some sort of x-ray or w/e they use it doesnt look as harmful/rdy to use.
