need help with lcd

I need help with my LCD when i hook up the charger to it it says tab in what does that mean ?
It also does nothing when i try to turn it on.
Is the battery shot or what.

i did and what the manuel said it still does not work

found the problem both in the manual and via the search:

manual: TAB IN = Battery disconnected or Tab Key inserted when trying to charge

solution via search: ok when it does this unplug the charger and move the switch into the oppisite position it is in now. then re insert the charger and re try. tab in is one a bad board, bad wiring or on/off switch in the wrong position.

Edit: btw wrong section, try posting in the lcd section next time
