Is there any diference between a 12 in barrel and a 14 in. barrel. honestly the tip of the barrels dont touch the pb so how could 2 in of tip make any difference

its more beneficial in manipulating bunkers. a longer barrel can make pushing bunkers in easier. but its all preference. i play back and use a 12.5" barrel, but thats cuz i got a deal on it. so use what your comfortable with = }

The bigger barrel the more accurate your shot will be because the ball has more time to travel in a structured object more so that it can shoot strait. I use a 14" only because I play front and a 16" is too big and a 12" isn't as accurate in my opinion. :chefico:

I am sorry but that is completely incorrect. Here's some info that will tell you why you are wrong. (http://www.automags.org/resource/tech/tomstech/01_barrel_eff.shtml)

not much you might get a little more accuracy with the 14in and thats about it.
