Most of you will see the thread title and say
"what the hell?" well here is what i am talking about.
This wouldn't likely be anything that would take to the market, but could possibly create new options for WDP in future development.
A dual tube Angel.
Take an Angel LCD outfitted with Predator or a similar eye conversion using a 9 volt battery. This would leave the left tube empty. Now this could just be milled off but then it would give the look of a Matrix with it's dead air chamber milled off (gross IMO).
What I am thinking is redesigning the body to allow the two tubes in use to sit vertically above the frame and one another. I am not as knowledgable on older Angels as on new ones but this does seem to bee a possible creation.
The end gun would probably look like a very very sexy DM based Angel.
Input?

well first, i think wdp/angel pride themselves in looking unique compared to any other gun, and also if u have the 2 tubes stacked on top of eachother and then the breach area on top of that, that makes for a pretty tall gun, and i dunno bout other ppl but it helps to have as low profile as possible when playing up front...

the whole gun is only two tubes. there's isn't another breech area above that; that would be three tubes. this would be the same height as a normal LCD.
the point is not to rearrange all three tubes, but to eliminate the battery chamber

i meant the area that the ball drops down in and shoots out, sry for my lack of proper termonology. but in order to eliminate the battery chamber then they'd hafta go back to 9volts like the 05 speed and theres only a minority of ppl that like that better than the rechargable ones offered...

i specifically was refering to LCD's with eye conversions using a single 9 volt. sorry if i had not made that clear.

AH, i see, i guess that would be kool if they wanted to use 9 volt, i still think the 3 tube design looks better and distinguishes the angel look. but to each his own...

don't get me wrong, i love my fly, just thought this would be something interesting.

just bring back the old LCD the way it was with a cheaper "eyeQ", cap it at 20bps, price it at $400 and sell the crap out of them? In the process putting all those Ion and Wrath owners out of their misery :stooges:

if they did that they would have to move the lpr back to the front of the first tube...or change it to an external lpr like all the other guns on the market...

One thing I like about angels is there is no external moving parts other than the trigger. It just has a cleaner look. That and an external lpr looks like it could break off.

well u said it would be bad to completely mill off the dead air tube and it would look like a matrix. 1st off its not a bad idea to completely mill it out. it would be lighter. it would look like a DM not a simple trix. and the DMs dont stack the tubes. they mill out the dead tube and center the other. and to wat ur saying is we would hav the frame, tube on top of tube, and then the breach(bolt/noid area) on top. no way in hell that would work. and i rather a hollow tube than it milled off making it look like a DM. and if you would hav a completely hollow tube id say invent an lpr that sticks inward yet adjustable from the outside.theres always a use for that space.

you said tube on top of tube plus the breech/noid area. that is not what i am talking about.
one of the tubes would be completely gone. i dont see why it would not work as long as you properly rearranged the frame and such to fit.
there would be no way to do it on a current LCD. a whole new body would likely need to be made.

o ok cuz u explained both of those in ur 1st post and said milling it out would be ugly liek a matrix. but yes it would work. dno if id buy it or not. its an advantage. but also a disadvantage. i need diversity and the space could be used for other things.
