Ive been playing paintball around 5 years. Yet i have never played using inflatable bunkers (yes i know i am deprived). The local fields both have bunkers made of solid plastic pallets, as well as wooden "houses". Im very used to playing on this type of field.

The question is that Im moving in a couple weeks to Louisville Ky. There is a nice indoor field there that uses the air bunkers. I have no experience using these and was wondering if there are any advantages or disadvantages to the inflatable ones. Sorry to ask a dumb question but i want to be able to just jump right in and not be a sitting duck.

you can push your barrel in so you can get tighter...you can bump into them..some fun stuff

Least you can bump into em. Those solid bunkers dont give an inch. I know this from experience, ive done full speed slides right into em.

Air ball fields are hekka fun. Theres only one good airball field in my town right now and the rest of the fields are pallet/plywood/door/sheet metal/tire. If its setup on *soccer grass* as we like to call it you can slyding around its fun. Im willing to bet you will love the change.

I have played both and I dont like airball as much as the solid bunkers. They still fun, but I liked hyperball better.
