your first turnament

hey every one i hear about your first paintball experiance but what about your first turney experiance. me myself the first time i ever played in a turney was when i was 12, 3 years ago and i played on my bros team. before i was 12 i wasnt alowed to play at that feild so i was just pit crew and i practiced with them. now im on my own team. the first turney i played with them we got 3rd and our other team got 2nd, we have two three man teams. and that was the best turney i thought it would be really hard because when i played with my bro it was an open class but this one was a rookie so i just walked all over them i we had about 900 points in the qualifying round which was 10 games (we played each team) and then in simi finals we only played 6 games (6 teams) and we got about 540. all perfect games except for havic, in that game i grabed the flag on a one on one and he shot me running to hang it which was dumb. so then in the final round 4 games we lost to havic which came in first, underdogs (which is our other team) and then us in third. but thank lord i have proven myself to be on A team. during this turney i was on B team. so what do you all have??

my first tourney sucked
it was a woods tourney..thats why it sucked, i wanted to play, and the tourney was basicly a day of playing anyway
i had my dark led with me and i played with two kids i met in the store to sign up..i asked if i could play wit em, they asked what i shot and i said a angel, so they didnt even ask for my name, they just signed me up wit em and said to go to the field an hour early..
we got last to say the least, because the two kids i was with sucked more then me when i started...
but now im big pimping so its all good

1987 or 88, I can't remember. The team was the Mudrats. I think we got our butts handed to us but I can't remember, that was long time ago, longer than the average user here has been alive.

sounds like my first turney was the best out of the most of us. but then again i had about 8 years of practicing with a turney team before i played my first one

first tourney rocked, we got second. slaughtered everyone except one team that had been playing a while. fun but i will never go back to that place, fields were horrible.

my first tournament was the second time i had EVER played paintball. It was a one on one, competeting for the national title of "technically the best player". I one the first game lost the rest of them for the day.
Second tounrey was one month later, this was the fourth time i had ever played ball, here we came 3rd i think.

i think this was during my first tourny, anyway...
it was down to me (back player) against either 3 or 4 on the other team. one guy comes up to bunker me, i ran out shot him a couple times continued across the entire field and finished almost at the far corner of the field, and with no players left to shoot it dawns on me that I FORGOT TO GRAB AND HANG THE FLAG!!!!!!
thats when the ref yelled "time!!!"
so basically i won the game, but lost like 40 or 50 points cuz i was a big dumb head
