quick halo question

Alright my mom got me a halo for my birthday(july 2nd) and i was just wondering if i need to install a second detent onto my gun( 2k1 lcd) or if my cobra indestruct detent alone will be fine?

I have a halo on my LCD with a stock detent and have never had a problem.
