Remove the magnets that are on the wheels. You'll see them when you take out the wheels. Just remember how it all goes back together when you disassemble. Have your manual handy.

Either remove the magnet or just by a Fly wheel (that has no magnet) from a MT and replace the stock magnet wheel with the Fly wheel.

And yeah, you can buy the trigger from an MT.

what i did is drill a small hole through the top of the pin like thing that goes into the body of the gun

then take a allen wrench that fits inside the hole and knock it out

I popped mine out using a small eyeglass screwdriver. Broke off a very tiny piece of the plastic on the sides that was around the magnet but still works like a charm.

I ended up taking the front magnet out.

I drilled a small pilot hole and used a punch to get the front magnet out.

In my opinion, I wouldn't reccomend removing the front magnet. My trigger was fine until I removed it. It still felt fine, but the ref's got serious trigger-bounce while checking it! After numerous adjustments I put the magnet back in and the bounce was away :drink:

Appearantly Bob Moon likes to remove the rear magnet and Ken the front. Not showing any like of allegience to either of them, the front magnet makes more sense removed to me than the rear.

well, in my friends 05 speed, we removed the back magnet. giving the trigger a very snappy return, and very smooth feel, Light as air.

though there was the occasional auto response.

I tried it in my g7 and it didnt work out. Im gonna try to replace teh front magnet with a more powerful one so it does.

I have messed with my stock trigger and finnaly have it lighter and very responsive without taking anything out or switching anything. On my speed 05 however I took the front out and I got lots of bounce. I dont know if it is just how I did it but I did it the same way people have told me.

After having removed the front magnet (a few weeks back), I just checked my G7 and I have hit 17bps. Says something like I like your rhythm.

I dont know if i have fast fingers but with the stock trigger the way I have it adjusted( still the way they had it in the factory) and my tr at 7 I am hitting a constant of 24 bps. This thing is just simply amazing. Says something like I like your rhythm. I know it is funny when it talks to me. Next thing I expect it to tell me is, That i am hungary and must eat if we are supposed to bunker the next victim.

Sean, Ken is actually replacing the rear magnet now. All of the triggers he's been setting up for us have just the front (large) magnet. Don't know why he changed, apparently he stated that trigger bounce was an issue.

25 BPS is cool, "I want your loader"
The G7 absolutely rocks, I've made a lightened, titanium hammer for mine and made an adjustable spacer (has a screw in it to adjust the pressure against the exhaust valve) for fitting a volumiser and it has even less kick and works at insanely low pressures and rips the paint. Easily the best angel yet.

I know removing the front made a diff over the stock set up. The way El P explained it, it did make sense to remove the front over the rear but maybe that has changed.

Learn something new every day. I am not really experiencing any bounce issue on mine but still interesting that Ken did change tactics.
