okay i just aired up my a4 i bought for the 1st time with the LP tank i just got the other day. the paint was going about 10 feet. so i turned up the reg till the screw was almost out and it would still be way under 285 fps i could tell without a chrono because it still wasnt going far, and then i would get a chop and all this happened thru the whole tank. i have no idea why its doing this, the barrel is cleen so i dont think the reason is drag in the barrel or anything. please help i want to get this fixed so i can play or atleast trade it for something else. just ask questions that could be a reason for it and ill answer to my best ability to tell u about my gun. thanx

Did you buy the gun new, or used?

Whats the Dwell at? Any idea what the LPR is at?

If you bought it used I wonder if who ever had it befor you did the mini reg mod to use a HP tank. Not sure if that would cause the problem or not.... It could be a number of things. One of my teamates had a Fly that wouldn't shoot over 240, and Ken fixed it by adding shims, I'm not sure where he added them too though. I think the LPR... :notsure:

YOu need to open the grip up to lower the dwell... Just read the manual, and drop the dwell to 11-12. That is what My a4 is set at..

Try that first, 17 seems way to high.. Not sure if that will fix it or not, but you will want to lower it anyways..

I am wondering if whoever had it before you upped it to 17 trying to fix this issue.

its prolly just a shot counter message...

Your best bet might be to just get it to your closest MT, and have them service it for you ...

If you don't know n e thing bout angels and got it used definitely send it to an mt for deluxe service....As mentioned you problem could be a number of things, you might want to give more info (if you can like lpr, dwell, which was given, and input)

to get the perfect settings check out the thread titled a4 settings...I think your main problem may be your lpr, which should be set at 70-80psi and def put your dwell around 10-12...THAT ASIDE, when your pup says "full service recommended" that means it needs to be greezed up and oiled down...my advice is to send it to an mt to get it clean as a whistle so that it can perform at its best.
