Ram in a G7 doesnt need positioned its where it needs to be automatically. And I have to push my bolt back to open my breech every time. Its something I got used to with my IR3's Jambolt and since the G7's bolt is designed to prevent rollback its a necessary evil.

Dont turn the knob thingy when the bolt isnt in the gun because your Ram will move forward and you will need something to push it backwards again like a thin wrench. If you can handle this difficult maneuver it shouldnt be a problem. jk. Good luck.

On any Angel if the ram moves forward while the bolt is out you will have to manually move the ram back so that you can get the bolt and ram aligned so that the breech will close. I do notice that on the G-7 with the lever operated breech you can accidentally move the ram forward and have to manually move the ram back so you can close the breech. Chock it up to a minor inconvience for using such a fine marker.

:rrrright: ...I don't think so...

...the G-unit is very nice, but this sounds like a design flaw...be expecting a ECP (engineering change proposal) by the folks owning them as it becomes more apparent. trading one bad for one good isn't the best compromise :nono: ...eliminating the bad is

..for the high cost, I personally would expect more hassle-free operation....just as i did (and received :) ) with my Force Fly...

Design flaw? How do you figure. With the marker degassed the ram has no force to move backwards when you go to open the breech. You have to push the bolt face back to open the breech (degassed). I don't see how having to do this is a design flaw really.

Design flaw? Naaahhhhh, just part of the design. I'll bet it (having to push it back manually) won't be in the next design  .
