i need new pads. my knee pads slide off everytime i slide and my elbows are now just scabs, time for some elbow pads. i wanted the airtime but cant get them discounted from my "sponser" so any input on jt/redz/c5 pads? or should i just put out the $ for the airtime. any input is greatly appreciated!

my friend has the redz knee/shin pads and they are amazing. i have used dye elbow/forearm pads and they are extreemly comfortable, ive even had a bounce off of them (they were the c4 ones)

i've never tried the airtime but i do have the dye knee and elbow pads...the problem with the c5 knee pads is that they sometimes slide off and would have to adjust it every 2 or 3 games. i'm not sure if the airtime pads are adjustable or something like that but if they are they i suggest you save your money and get those...not too sure about the jt and redz though check those out too

i have some Dye knee pads and i freakin' love them. they never move. i put them on in the morning and don't have to touch them all day. i'd recommend those most definitely for knee pads. i too am currently in the elbow pad market. Some of my friends have Dye ones and give them decent reviews. the Air Time pads are too freakin' tight, they cut off my circulation. The Redz are too thickly padded and bulky. i haven't tried JT's. Also, i tried on MacDev pads at Huntington Beach and they were nice, so i'll go with those if i do get some pads.

i love the dye gel pads, they freaking rock. i havent had a prob with them sliding but i only have the elbows at the moment but everyone swears to the paintball gods that the knee pads are awesome.

Since I am a little older than the average paintball player and my knees are shot from 16+ years in the Army, the best knee pads I have found are the ones built into the pants. As a bonus they definately help the bounce factor and I can wear my knee braces underneath the pants too.
