Barrel Measurements

I went to measure the stock barrel to find out the length, (cuz i'm looking to get an UL barrel, and I like the length of the stock) and I hit a problem.

When measuring a barrels length, do u measure the whole barrel, or just the part the u see when its screwed into the marker?

It confused me becuase both measurements were exact at 12'' and 14''.

Any thoughts?

The stock barrel is a 14" barrel.

I'm not too sure of that, you may be right, but on the A4 there are 12 and 14 inch barrels depending on the color. They might have done that on the speed, but like I said, I'm not sure.

if im not mistaken the manuel said it is a 14 inch barrel.
