I am comparing tanks and I have found a few that are fixed at 400psi and some (such as the angel air presets) that are at 450 psi. Which would be better to get? Does lower = better or either would be fine.

you want an LP(low preasure) or adjustable air system..the AIRs are great tanks along w\ the LP crossfires..some good adj. ones are nitro duck and the adj angel AIR....i would say either get a crossfire or a nitroduck depending on your wallet

Your "target" range for the '05 Speed/G7 in terms of tank output pressure is 350-600psi. Anything less and you risk starving the marker, anything more and you're making the inline work harder then it needs to in regulating.
Again, these are "rough estimates."
