Remove the bolt to lube, it'll be fine. What they are saying about not shooting it without the bolt in with paint in your angel.

I keep the breech door closed when I dry fire sans bolt. I also recommend you get a towel and muffle the barrel lug, and the feed neck, cause it is ungodly loud.

Yup! Done that before, sorry to admit. That was a god awful mess.

That's why they say don't fire it without the bolt. Yes, it only take once for you to remember not to do that one.

No kidding. I was getting everything set to go on the field with my Mamba IR3 back in the day and I did everything except put the bolt back in the breech after wiping the whole thing down. Now I make absolutely sure that bad boy is in there before I even think about turning the marker back on.

I just barely had a major issue with what your talking about. I removed the bolt and fired the marker. The G7's dont have anything to hold the breech down except for the bolt, so it will flap open on ya. In my unlucky situation it bent my breech rods, and I now have to send it in for servicing. Its your gun though, so do whatever you like. I personally will just keep the bolt in from now on.
