so i have my new g7!!!!terrible!!!!!!!
but i have a question about modes
on the mode 5 wich is the accumm mode what the gun must do???because when i fire in this mode it shoots like the mode1...
is the mode 5 like ramping mode?????

U should RTM again...the differences b/t mode 1 and 5 are spelled out. ACUMM MODE is a bps enhancer (more shots than pulls) that's capped at 15bps, eye's cannot be de-activated...

MODE 1 is sem1-auto (true semi's are 1 pull 1 shot) there is no cap in mode one (bps depends on hopper speed, and finger movement) eye's can be de-activated

There might be other differences..but those are the big ones....oh eyes are default on in accum mode and off in semi auto.

The reason most people respond RTM, is just b/c (in my opinion) you become more knowledgeable with your marker.

As has been stated twice before in this thread, both Mode-1 and Mode-5 seem to be doing the same thing with the only exception that you can turn the eyes off on Mode-1.

So I still have the same question, what does Mode-5 really do?

Personally I have read the manual and see what it does but I have never tried mode 5 yet to see if it's working correctly. While I am not knocking the importance of reading the manual the point of this post is the fact that alexfromfrance has tried mode 5 and it is not working like it is supposed to.

someone can tell me if the mode 5 on the g7 is a ramping mode or not??????i can see that on the mode 3 ther are more balls out than you pull the trigger...but i see nothing happens on the mode 5...

ALex, how fast are you shooting in Mode 1? I thought the same on Saturday as everyone was runnign their PSP Chips, The this for me was that I too thought nothing was happening but being that Mode 5 is capped @ 15bps, if you are already shooting that it will not do anything, if you tone your fingers down a bit, you will hear the difference as it picks up the speed. Pretty cool to hear. Great for laneing too...

ITO, does that make sense? I too was hoping it woudl ramp up but I am already hitting 15bps. My friends with their shockers can ramp up to 20-22. Ours are capped @ 15bps.

Yes that answered my question. My fingers are not nimble as I would like them to be, but I hit close enough to 15bps that Mode-5 feels the same as Mode-1.

The 15bps cap is a bit lame, but at the same time I 15 is enough for me.

I borrowed a Shocker that was ramping to 22bps, My god did I go through a lot of paint. And talk about gas hog no where near teh gas efficiency of my twins...No thanks I will stick with my G7...

I like the 15bps cap as it is legal for several tournies.

Glad I was able to help out. Where the Mode 5 comes in handy is you are having a problem sustaining 15bps, it will give you an assist.

also...if your tr is set at a high rate you prolly won't hear the diff..

Taking the twins for the master to give a little TLC, definately a smart thing. Make sure you keep the better half's G-7 working equal or better than your own, it'll be worth it in the long run. Buying doubles of everything like you did is a great start.

Thats what Bob the Angelguy said. predator code to control your ramp how fast and when and all kinds of cool stuff. runs off of 9v battery. you can remove your rechargeable and make your gun lighter. no more opti trigger. comes with on board microswitch. <http://www.tagsportz.com/forums/> check it out. bob said it should be ready soon and will fit g7. let me know what you think.

thats what i miss on my g7 is the feel of a switch in the trigger. like to feel and hear the little click. they have excellent service with their boards too.
