A4 paint job

anyone know were i can get my angel painted?? i want to add a custom paint job on mine maybe a fade...will spray paint stay on???

i would advise against paint ..... the gun is annodized ... which is a chemical process in which the color becomes part of teh outside of the aluminum ... go to http://www.aplusanodizing.com , http://www.maxanodizing.com/ .. and any others anyone else can reccomend

Please god no. Do not use spray paint. Even if you get it to stick, it is gonna look like ass. Just save a bit of cash and send it to get it anodized.

You have a $1000+ marker and you're going to use a $3 can of spray paint on it?!?! You've got to be kidding. This will likely ruin your marker, and unless you fully disassemble all the parts from the body, you'll probably get overspray on everything, thereby potentially voiding your warranty on some internal parts. An ano job is only about $100-$150.

BUT, if you're crazy enough to spray paint your Angel, please post pics afterwards so that we can tell you "I told you so."

Do not worry it wont stick long!!! you have disassemble the marker to the frame and send it out to anodizing shop! Let me know how comes out with the paint. If just our a bucket of house paint on it --then it might stick!

I have a friend at work that spray painted his Spyder. It didn't come out too bad considering. He fully disassembled it before painting it. It wasn't as smooth as anodizing and didn't look bad from a distance, but I would also advise against desecrating your Angel like that. Angels have a reputation to live up to. That would be a sin to spray paint it.

when im gonna send my gun to be anodized do i have to take off all the screws and the A4 gauge on the gun and the trigger adjustment wheels etc.?????

I think warpig did a article on annodizing stuff yourself, but I wouldn't recommend it.

i was also lookin for a cheap anno for my 05 speed does any1 know of a some1 that can do it cheap and good, i was thinkin of doin a rasta or just a fade aswell

Dont spray paint it , use some electrical tape of the color you want lol

fireballmountain.com does some nice anno and lazer engraving for those wanting a little something extra ie rasta fade with the "leafs" on it.
