i have a problem with my eyes on my 05 speed. it was fine before but i had my board get reprogramed. With the psp and cfoa modes. Now the eyes don't seem to work. It doesn't detect the ball in the breech. it shoots 1 shot every 3 seconds or so. I took the eyes off cleaned them and everything and they still don't work. Does anyone have any suggestions or know whats wrong with it. Thanks

same thing happened to me but i cleaned them and it ended up working

Freak - Does your 05 shoot fine with the EYES OFF?

yes it fires fine with the eyes off. But it chops

Sounds like dirty eyes then, but you said you already cleaned them.

Did you check the connect of the eye ribbon into the 05's board in the grip? Might be loose?

ya i cleaned them like 5 times. i also removed them and cleaned them

Check that the eye ribbon is properly seated in the grip.

Remotely possible but more than likely the problem lies with your eyes. If you have already cleaned the eyes and the hole for the eye in the body I would suggest grabbing someone else's eyes and seeing how well they work.

im not sure if this will apply to your issue, but when my eyes messed up it was because the eye covers were in too tight. once they were loosened up it worked great. it is possible that the eye covers were on too tight before you sent the board in to get it reprogramed and its just a coincidence that its messing up now.

i hope that it isnt the eyes that are messing up...thats 40-50 bucks

I have the same syptoms on mine after it was reprogrammed in Denver. I have the g7 eyes but they aren't glowing. It's going to be checked today, so I'll post the solution for you. If we fix it, that is.

if they arent lighting up the breech then they arent getting power...

I metered the eyes at the back of the eye. It looks like the emitter is getting less than 1vdc.

when you are just clicking the noid on your gun, doesnt the noids loudness change with clicks? if so, then replace your battery.
