I am about to send one of my markers off to them to have it re-ano'd, has anyone heard anything negative about their work? They quoted me the least expensive price for a somewhat complex ano pattern. http://www.aplusanodizing.com/index.html

I am not looking for anyone to tell me PK or Max is the best because they wanted to charge me well over $500 to do the ano I want done. I priced the anodizers out and A Plus had the best price for me.

I think A-plus annos smart parts guns, so their anno isn't great from what i've heard. I don't really know of other annodizers, but look around. You might want to look into the smart parts thing, I think it is a-plus.

I have not seen anything wrong with SP's ano. I will call SP Monday and see who does their ano.

yes A-Plus handle SP anno...It's not THAT bad but its not great either. My Shocker is holding up nicely, but i know we get a lot of guns back from them with scratches on them, and also if their is a complex milling patter with a lot of sharp edges (Strange shocker for example) the edges are usually not anno'd too well. And dont expect your pieces to match. Im not trying to talk you out of doing this or bad mouth A-Plus in any way, im just stating my experiences.

I've had a few parts anno'd by A+, and they did a great job for me. I've also seen a few of the complete markers they've done, and they are holding up just fine. Last I heard, A+ didn't anno SP markers anymore. The metal SP was using wasn't all that great.

The guys at A+ are great people, nice as can be. Not trying to sway your decision El, just letting you know my experience with them.

I heard SP had bad metal, I guess that is why the anno chips away. WDP annos too thin, but uses good metal. Good metal+ good anno= great looking "gat." What does gat mean anyways, gun and tank. I am not too good at "net" lingo, it took me 10 minutes that j/k means just kidding.

Ya know the ano can't reflect his avatar, it'd be out of date in two days! :moon:
