Yes thats right, they HAVE FINALLY ANOUNCED the second title to the series! Set for Fall 2005, some of our hopes have been answered:

"Breakout"-Before the next match, you have a layout of the field to assign players their pos.

Dont forget about SPLIT SCREEN

Also, you can choose you and your players pos. to limit the weight, paint, and such

I've actually hard (and spoke with other people that heard similiar) that Greg has been working on version II, III & IV with the original developers. That supposedly this version will tweak the first game to have some more features but that the III game will actually be "realistic."

I just hope that Greg is a big fan of games like R6 and GR, their squad/team commands are easy to use and very effective in the field.

Was looking at the list of games coming up at the local Gamestop. October 18, and it is coming out for PSP! Portable paintball, hell yeah!

Wonder if it will come out for ps2? I got two of them...one in my house and one in my car. I really dont wanna buy an xbox jsut to paly one game. I liked the first one, I played it at a buddies of mine, but comon, what could be better? cuple teammates in a car driving 6 hours, while palying painball...in traffic :)

Contrary to belief there is no release date set yet, everything is based on speculation. The distributor, Activision, wants the games all released at once so the release date will be based on when the last game is near completion. I can say though they will have it out no matter what before the holiday rush begins (so before Thanksgiving, but probably much earlier).

The game has a TON of enhancements and if you'd like to talk to the Dev's more about it, or Greg himself hit up the forums at GHTP.net. The Developers (on the forum its WXP Pyronious) come in and answer questions a few times a day and Greg is going to be in and out when he's at his computer (between travelling for promotion, playing with XSV and the wife he's a lil busy).
