I just bought an A4. I'm getting rid of my 2k1 lcd. Is there anything I should know about the A4 vs the LCD? I'm using a 12v Revi right now, and it was fine with the lcd. Should I upgrade? Also, my tank isint low pressure. Should I switch to LP? Any help you all can give, would be great!

A for the LCD, I would keep the lcd, i kept mine when i bought my a4, then again, i havent been able to use the A4 yet, havent been able to get the operating pressure and velocity right. If ya sell it, it should go for 350 or so depending on condition and quality.

Im attempting to run a HP tank on my a4, but I have a cp aftermarket reg so it should work ok. Otherwise you can do the minireg mod found in the a4 setup forum at the top of the a4 forum page. As far as the upgrades go, i dunno what to tell you, cycling at a non playable velocity with no paint, my a4 says i hit about 18. I think its worth keeping stock for a bit until you play with it and find out what you dont like about the gun.

Ok, first of all, the trigger wheels are very nice, helps get a good pull. I recommend a z'd egg2 because of sensi. If you run a hp tank, do the minireg mod. Clean your gun after you play, oil it too after you play. The anno is kind of thin, but you have a lcd, so you probably know this. Contrary to my thinking the trigger is aluminum, not plastic. I really don't notice much difference in kick from the huge volumizer and the mini one, my gun is tuned for uber efficiency, dwell 10, mini volumizer, trigger offset 20 (that slows my fingers down a lot. Don't shoot your gun straight up in the air, or you will chop, my friend did this and paint was all over. That is all I can think of keep looking around the forums.

Halo b w/ Angry Board or Empire Reloader B using the 4 AA mod works well w/ Sensi. I'd highly recommend the Mag Trigger Mod w/ a Slayer or trigger (or the like).

My setup works good for me, very slight kick (as expected):
Dwell 14
TR 1
Med Volumizer
LPR 55

I can easily get 1400 - 1500 shots or more that way from my Crossfire 4500/71 tank.

That'll get you started, then you can eventually get the fly conversion later if got the cash. A barrel kit might be a nice addition too to help w/ your paint to barrel match for accuracy sake.

Enjoy it! :drink:

Oh, heck yeah... read the manual; good point GC. :bigok:

And after you read it through the first time, read it again, :dito: Pay special attention to the troubleshooting section at the end. If you run into any problems, that should be your first place to look. It covers just about everything you could run into and gives you a list of the things you should check when experiencing any difficulty w/ the marker.
