05 Shutdown?

Hey I was wondering if my 05 speed has the shutdown issue. When im shooting once in awhile it will just stop shooting, and only can be fixed by turning it off then on again. Im puzzled about it because that I bought my 05 Speed 2 weeks ago and it came stock with lazer eyes. I got the gun in black/blue fade gloss finished. SO could it still have the shutdown anyways even if its a newer version? Please help ASAP. Thanks

try covering the toe hole with a piece of tape ... had a similar problem withmy fly .. light getting in there

If you have the version 3 software it will have the shutdown problem.My O5 had the version 3 and it shutdown so I had it flashed with the newest software and got the PSP mode flashed also.No problems since I did that.

It has version 2.

i have version 3, as do 3 of my teammates, and no problems regarding shut down.

adjust your trigger and see if that helps (not just vernier wheels, but the allen key in the trigger that adjusts break point)

i have version 2 not 3. i do sometimes, have a problem where it doesnt shutdown but, just doesnt fire, but then i turn it off then on then works again , happens very seldomly

If you have the version 3 software it will have the shutdown problem.My O5 had the version 3 and it shutdown so I had it flashed with the newest software and got the PSP mode flashed also.No problems since I did that.It was not something necessarily limited to version 3. It was also not something that all version 3's had either. If you so desire and think it is the bright light shutdown issue you can have the board flashed by any of the mt's for free (version 5) or pay to get it reflashed with the bright light fix and the PSP ramping mode (version 6).

Ok I need help fast. Is there any other possibilities why my 05 just will stop shooting when im playing. I have a busy paintball schedule and really dont have time to send it in.

Please Help ASAP! Tell me if you think im going to have to send it in or not. Or if it could be a different reason why my 05 will just not shoot sometimes when I pull the trigger and I have to turn it off then on and it works fine. Im running out of time because I have paintball camp 4 a week starting tomorrow. When I get back im going 2 a p8ntball party then the next day im leaving 2 play out of state 4 a few weeks. Than im packed with tournys, practices, and clinics so any more ideas will be appreciated!

Use electrical tape and try to block all the light possible going into your grip frame then send it to an mt upon your return from camp. If you send it to an mt priority mail it should be back within 2 weeks.

Your battery is probably shaking inside the grip. Squeeze the grip right in the center and see if that turns it off, or shake your gun real hard to see if that turns it off. If it does, than it's battery shake.
