i recently purchased a g7. i have to say that i'm kind of blown away by the amount of adjustability that the gun has. my last gun was a 04 cocker with out e-blade running c02, so this e-marker upgrade is quite and experience. my questions are as follows: i read the entire instuction hand book and i'm still having a hard time trying to get my setting just right. i only play rec speed and have yet to enter a tourney, so i do want my gun to ramp a bit from time to time. the gun also seems to suck down the gas pretty good, is this normal? i guess i'm looking for a really good and in depth tutorial about setting up the gun and navigating through the menus. i would consult a paintball shop, but the nearest one is a couple hour drive from me. any help that you guys can provide would be great. i love the gun and it shots like a dream, i just hate feeling like i'm in the dark when i comes to my marker. thank again.

Mine kinda sucks down the gas too but from what Ive heard all you have to do is break the gun in and lower the lpr. As for the settings on the lcd all you have to do is hold the top button in on the back of the gun in until the gun sais safe mode-. Then you enter the lcd menu using the middle button on the back. The only things you have to take the grip cheek off for is setting the dwell, triggeroffset and some others. All you do those are take the grip cheek off, make the gun safe and then press the yellow button until you have it on the setting you want and press the blue to change the number. HOPE THIS HELPS GLAD YOU LIKE THE GUN WELCOME TO THE FAMILY

once i did this i set the following:
lpr-50
dwell-11
tr-3
i was able to maintain high rate of fire and no shoot down.
i hit 21 bps at these settings, very good for me, my previous high on my ir3 was 17 bps
