Hey, dont u think that WDP should make a WDP devil, i mean, come on, the marketing idea is perfect, then it could be angel vs. devil on the field. That would Rock WDP. It should probobly be meaner looking than the Angel. More edgy than smooth. And emphasis should be on Speed and accuracy, not mainly techical perfectness.
If u use this idea, I WANT SOME BACON FOR IT!

I was tryin to figure that out, cuz the angel just ROX how it is, But maybe they could make like a more agressive version, where the emphasis is more on speed and accuracy than technical perfectness. Maybe WDP could come out with a new technoligy, like persay a certain way to have music when your gun turns on, or glowing LEDS on the side of the gun. I dunno, Thats why i put this here, to get some input, Feel free guys.

i don't know that guns come any faster (or accurate) than what WDP already has. And why would you want a gun that wasn't functionally/technically perfect?? if you do, they're easy to find **cough** SmartParts **cough**

I hate to keep attacking your suggestions, but it seems your ideas boil down to little more than chimes and flashing lights?? :puzzled: i don't feel the need to have those things on my gun.

Also devil angels should have no lcd or led screen or any barrel longer then a 7 inch barrel.. just for kicks :pirate2:

See, pb2unknown has the right idea. You people are like RIPPIN me here, Just post if u got some idea. Like PB2Unknown's idea, obviously it would be alot cheaper than most angels, so that might open WDP up to the affordable market.

i think that it should have little windows on the side of the gun, that can be opened up and new little stickers or little window plates can be placed inside, kinda like what the ion did, but maybe a little different. Also, the gun could look COMPLETELY different than the angel, doesnt have to follow the same form. It should come with a stock barrel that is black on the outside and red on the inside. Thatd be sweeeet. and it should come stock with devil horn volumizers.

but it is a good idea, heaven vs. hell its not bad but it would be kinda hard even for WDP cauze y would they want to make a "devil" marker cauze if they downgrade it might be like a SP gun :p

well the dark angels were the "evil angels" like raffles said...so why would WDP go away from making?they have their stock, MT, and team versions of angels..they do have three bases covered and atleast one of those has to apeal to pretty much all of the angel lover....

but the fact is..they are a little late of they were going to do this..
tourneys are getting strick on bps..they are having em capped now..so really whats the point of buying a gun that comes stock with ramping when its only going to ramp to 15 or something...
and there are also cheap little tricks you can do to "ramp" or make your gun illegal..
and there are several business views of this also..
say that wdp is going to come out with a new gun called-"sweet"..it comes out, its a blast, everyone wants one..a week or two later, after everyone has heard things from this gun and are thinking about buying one, wdp comes out with a gun called-"devil"- wdp hypes up this gun as much as they did to "sweet"(of course, your saying that "devil" is going to cost less) so naturally, since wdp hyped up "devil", everyone is going to think that this gun is awesome, and since it costs less, people are going to buy this gun more..and not the gun that cost more, therefore, the loss of money..

WDP will not do this.. When I was speaking with Owen, he said (paraphrase) all the owners of WDP, and himself, had a meeting, in this meeting they decided they would not create many different kinds of guns.. Why? Cause they want to remain exclusive..

WDP is the ferrari of paintball, why would they create a cheating gun that goes against what they have been saying all these time.. It would just lower them to a Honda level..

Okay, everone is getting the wrong idea here, i just wanted to see some kule ideas for a gun, lets just say that Dye or Smart parts makes it instead, i just went with angel cuz it's ANGELOWNERS.COM. I think that the gun should feed ten balls in at a time with the hopper in the back, so thatway the balls can just roll over a motorized spinner which pushes them forward, therefore taking the airtank out of the picture and replacing it with a battery. I personally LOVE that idea, but i garen-damn-tee you that you guys are gonna rip on me again. to solve the problem with battery drainage and noise, the spinner would only activate once an infrared beam on front of the trigger was crossed. A small hook could push the balls forward onto the spinner, having ten little notches where it could stop as there are ten balls in the tube. So u pull the trigger twice, two balls are shot out, the pusher goes down two notches. So on so forth. Then once it gets to the final notch it would just revolve around to the back while waiting for ten more balls to feed in, this could happen quickly, so u wouldnt be waiting.

I think it'd be great if WDP developed a splinter of their company (like a Proto line is to DYE) for the budget minded player.

Realistic, WDP has developed their branding strategy along the lines of what Owen stated to Pakman. They've targeted an audience (effectively for 8 years) and why change what works.

However, you do have to stop and wonder. Look at Ion, for the majority of store owners it's a major seller. At what point will WDP and/or DYE make the move to compete in the sub $350 range. It may never happen (it'll probably never happen) but I'm sure both companies have certainly developed realistic business plans for such a market.

I think this is a great idea ! I have thought about this before but was too embarrassed to post it. I think i get the gist of what you are saying. The transformation in look doesn't have to be that durastic but should be distiguishable and intimidating. Such an example can be seen in the old species intimidator compared to the alias / 03 basic shocker to the warped "dark" shocker, also it would be better if it would be called a demon instead of a devil.

wdp should get together with warped sportz and come out with a demonized version of the g7

Thank you god, sumonee that ACTUALLY gets this thread, yeah, demon makes more sense, cuz its not a WDP God after all. I thought that if WDP was ever going to make a new line of guns, it would have to be something MAJOR and original, like for example, my post 3 frames up. Its perfectly plausible, im sure they could work around the problems.

when I think of an evil angel I think of the old warped sportz dark ir3. What would be real nice is if they put horns in front of the feedneck :devil1:
and maybe a devil tail swerving down the back and ending above the 'noid.
One thing i wish wdp would bring back is the back plates. An evil angel would look tight with an old school warped back plate.

As far as the "rough" look, every other angel before the Speed 05 did not have the smooth milling, exception being the non C&C versions of angels. People, I am not bashing any older angel just thinking on the exterior of the non-smooth milling cuts such as the fly, speed, LCD, and IR3.

The Speed 05 fits your description of performance with few frills and designed only to sling paint. While I get better ROF's out of my G-7 than my Speed 05, the G-7 has way more frills than a Speed 05.

As far as getting some duckies for coming up with the idea, who's to say that WDP has not been refining the Devil long before the thought entered your head?

Nooness to say, im kiddin about gettin some green, haha, you dont think corporate executives could find a way out of it even if i DID claim the idea, YIGHT, ill let them have any creditation just to save money and time. I like the idea of a Stack angel. I think that if a new gun was ever made by them, it should be completely distinguishable from the angel. I think it shoulkd have a full streaming video board, so you can record the game from a camera under the barrel, then you can play it back on the gun of the board on command. Thatd be SWEEET, but i guaren-damn-tee you it would turn into downloadable videos and stuff.
