What i LOVE about paintball.

ok got 3 requests in the last what i hate about paintball thread so here is "what i love about it"

i love:
the comradery(bad sp)
team work
the friends you make
helping people
enjoying a nice day at the feild
the overall atmosphere of the game
and shooting my Angel! :cheers:

1. Camaraderie with good people.
2. Players with honor who get out when they are hit.
3. Watching a new person get hooked.
4. Seeing my wife's face after she shot her first opponent.
5. Watching a plan work.
6. Run-throughs (receiving and giving)

Hmmm, after 19 years of playing it would seem I might know what I love about the sport but I really can't put it into words. I love the sport because I love the sport. What specifically I can't quite put my finger on.

I'm going to have to go with El Pirata on this one. I haven't been playing as long as he has, but at the moment it's hard to put into words why I love playing this game, but I'm going to try. Between the time involved, the money required, the early weekend mornings, and late weekend nights, long lines at tourneys, time invovled in travel, crashing exhausted at the airport while waiting for a flight, and everything else involved...I just love to play. The adrenaline rush involved, the anticipation, the speed, the teamwork, friends you make on the field who help you off the field, the rivalries, cheer of the crowd. There is just something about the whole atmosphere and experience that is unrivaled by anything else.

i love playing on a team with my friends..
staying up all night watching paintball vids before a tourney, not getting any sleep and still owning everyone there..
chilling at the field, watching the rec players ball..
seeing someone i have never seen come up to me and say they like watching me play
watching the entire paintball community turning into a family at a national event..

You may have just met the guy your playing with 30mins. ago. But, after that 1st game you two are best buddies watching each others back and talking about how you did. It is a great sport and that is one aspect I truly love how it brings people togather. Father and Son, or just some Joe you met. This sport is great! Hell I met by best friend playing 8 years ago. Didn't know him at all but after that 1st game that was it. Still playing togather after all these years.

I love seeing the peoples faces when i get out my guns.. (i play with people who mostly have walmart guns)(Right now im just playing with an A-5 with response but my g7 is on the way)
And when we have paintouts how i just keep coming after them and they are shooting as fast as they can

What they are gonna say when i get my G7 or if they all just sh*t their pants
