ok, there is a thread called the perfect g7 settings, but it has gotten way off track, so here is a derivitive of that thread. what is the lowest succesful lpr pressure that you have been able to achieve with consistency and no drop off? and what dwell setting are you using? just curious to see what low pressure it can go to after it has broken in.

LPR - 32psi
Dwell - 13ms
No measurable drop off at 15bps (consistent ROF). Recorded on a G7 with about 65,000 cycles.

40 psi lpr
dwell - 9
Seems to be working sweet, no drop off and good air efficiency.

Have you run 65,000 rounds through it yet as the G7 that Spacro refers too?

LPR 28
Input 450
Dwell 9
2 medium volumisers
Works perfect, no drop off, and she cycles very fast and consistent. Air efficiency is very good and recoil has been significantly reduced.

how can you measure input pressure? thanks.

450 from the preset tanks. With a little modification you can get the operating pressure from the exhaust valve side too.

ok, i thought by input pressure he meant the pressure from the mini reg. my bad. anyway, who else thinks they got the perfect settings.

markTrigga made a piece that fits into the valve side so that you can add a volumizer.

This time, I will have them made of a harder steel rather than the aluminum. I'll start a new thread once they are made to keep those that are interested up to date.

i am very interested, i will look for them! and what kind of volumizers doyou personally think would look good on a gloss blue? everything is black and gloss blue. is there any very close (dark/deep blue) colors of vol's out there. and what are your favorite vol's and maybe some you'd recommend. thanks

ps -how much are you selling them for? and any other mod's you offer or can make, for the right amount of money no doubt.

do you guys have to turn your inline regscrew way out to make it chrono? I get scared to unscrew that thing far because it comes out and that could be bad i think. They should make the screw turn in like normal seems safer lol.

You turn the screw clockwise until it stops, to adjust preasure down. When you go to the chrono you turn it counterclockwise until you reach your desired fps.

What mods did you have to do to get that Vol to fit your G7?

~AHe doesn't have any except the part that I had made to accommodate the volumizer. Let me see if I can find a link that show's what I did.

I gave one to both EP and Kev. My part has become a little bent so I am going to try and get some made from steel.
BTW - I am sure that WDP will be coming out with something even better soon enough. This just holds me over until then.

ps -how much are you selling them for? and any other mod's you offer or can make, for the right amount of money no doubt.Me? I'd go with the Fly style volumizer that FMA sells HERE (http://secure.fixmyangel.com/modules.php?name=catalog&file=product_info&cPath=9&products_id=357&osCsid=56586bc5761f59b342f199516d92f6fd). It comes in dust black.
And it'll look like THIS (pic) (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v154/TriggaNometry/G7/G7BABY.jpg) on a G7.

On the G-7 pretty much no real gain. Unless you are running an insanely low pressure but even then it is doubtful you would need a volumizer. About the only gain you will receive by a volumizer, aside from looks, is air reservoir turning your 68ci tank into a 69ci tank or thereabouts. The air passages on the G-7 are huge, larger than anyone has ever dreamed of using on an Angel. If you remove either of the front caps you can see the larger air passages. They are visibly larger than any previous Angel.

It looks like I will have more made out of much stronger material (heat treated steel) than the aluminum pieces. When they are made, I'll start another thread.
I do not know when WDP will come out with their aftermarket piece. From reading the manual and specs on the G7 that WDP has released it sounds like they will be selling a small volumizer for the G7 at some point. Don't know when though.
Again, I have to agree though, I haven't had a real need for a volumizer on my G7 other than to break up the looks of the front of the G7. That's all a matter of personal preference anyway.
