I seem to have another odd problem with my 05 Speed. When I depress the trigger fully, it shoots (all good so far). However, when I release the trigger, it shoots too. It's almost as if the impact of the trigger stopping at its starting position triggers to opto-board. Any ideas? Thanks.

Doesnt the 05speed have like reactive trigger or something... Maybe you have that mode on.

the person that owned my speed before bent the leaf on the trigger and caused it to shoot twice on each pull. Check that if the other things didn't work.

I bought it used, but I don't know how used (everything came in like new condition). I know the previous owner has done some tinkering because my forward wheel has no magnet and my rear wheel has the small magnet. I have never noticed it before until yesterday and it only occurs when the trigger is released quickly. A normal light pull will not induce the second shot. However, I am still worried as I do not want to be pulled for a bouncing gun at my tournament this weekend for such a silly glitch. Thanks.

how short is your trigger pull? what's your lpr set at? does it have a lot of recoil? what's your tr setting?

short trigger pulls with recoil can cause mechanical bounce. seen it happen on my gun as well as my friend's 05 speed and a A4 fly that he fixed.

Thanks. There's something you can doto the leaf spring to make this happen. I would suggest taking your grip frame off and taking the trigger out and looking at the leaf spring. If there is anything attached to the middle like shrink wrap or something soldered to it you need to remove it.

Remove the trigger and you'll see it.

There is nothing on the trigger. I set the trigger pull real short and it is a lot harder to induce the second shot. However, the short stroke on it might now induce other kinds of bounce when shooting. We'll see this weekend. Thanks to everyone with insight on the problem thus far. I'll get back to you on how things work out this weekend.
