OPTO Board Acting wierd

I just got my OPTO board MEM 6 E, I was sitting and adjusting my settings when i noticed that when i turn the Angel Live and then back to safe, After that can't i get into the menu without switching the power off and then on again.

Any ideas ?

Or is the mem 6 e OPTO board supposed to act like this (i had Mem 2 before) because my old Switch board did not do this.

Is it actually a Mem 6E? I ask only because I was of the opion that there was Mem 6 and 6A not 6E. Maybe there was a problem when they programed it? Who did you get it from? It might be worth contacting them.

Yes it is a MEM 6 E and i got it direct from WDP.

It also "Viberates" when i turn it into SAFE and i cant go LIVE without turning it OFF and then back ON.

Check to see if you have not pinched a wire. If not, give Frazer an e-mail and work something out with him.

apparently 6E is what's coming from WDP in the upgrade. It's supposedly got something to do with the programming, at Cup it was A it appears now it's E. Someone mentioned this in another thread the other day.

Also I believe that someone had mentioned previously that they had experienced that same thing you are with your board and they said they had to replace their board. Sounds weird that you'd have a bad board straight from the upgrade like that. I'm sure that Frazer tested them all. I would make sure all your wires are in the correct slots, and then give Frazer an e-mail and explain this problem to him.

I got it to work.

Heres what i did:

I unplugged all the plug exept the one for the battery and unmounted the Display.

Then i did RESET the board and then put one plug in the board at the time and tested to see if it would go LIVE and then back to SAFE and to LIVE again.

And last i mounted the display.

And now it seems to work.

It just seems a bit wierd to me cause i have checked the plugs seweral times and reset the board several times.

Anyway i'm glad that it works now.

I Know now why it suddenly works.

It appears that the board has RESET, And i mean REALLY RESET
the Counter is back to ZERO and the ID is READING 000000

So i'll guess that i have to send it back to Frazer again. :O(

dont, it happens to alot of peoples ir3s.. me and my friends dark does it sometimes... ull turn it on safe, itll vibrate, then u cant go live unless u turn it off and back on... i dont know what kinda glitch it is but sometimes it happens, unfortuntly once it happened and resett my serial number and shots left.. but whatever, ur boards not bad, its jus a common glitch.

i also have the same problem with my board. it does the same thing. i have to turn it off and on to put it in live. and once in live and changed to safe it vibrates. what the §§§§ is up with that ? someone help !!

i have the same problem too....mem6 cops2 board....had almost 20,000 on the counter then resets itself.....counter 0 shots....did it twice already....it viberates when i turn it back to safe then i have to turn it off.......then the counter is at zero....

OT but what's the differance between MEM 6 and MEM 6A/E??
