my friend / captain has a fly with 4.0 software and claims he found a way to get the demo mode to shoot balls ! i almost crapped my pants when i saw that thing rip !
he showed me the tr and it was on 2 , his dwell was at 11 and it said demo mode.
he said something about sauldering a p2 board (whatever that is )
is there anybody who know how to unlock this trick. i would really like to know how to do this.
(and before any body says anything... i am not a CHEATER ! ! ! i would never ever mis-use this in a tourney or to light up some little noob but it would like to know this trick for show off purposes only.
THANX !

Do you happen to have any Force modes on your marker? If so, I believe AF4 does the same thing as Demo mode but fires when paint is in the breech.

I don't have my marker near me, but I believe there is a standard mode 4 and an Angel Force mode 4. Cycle past the Demo mode and you should start seeing the Force modes. Though I could be completely wrong on this, hard to remember and can't check since I don't have my baby nearby.

in full semi with my TR on 2 i can roll out 22-25/sec
thats with 18 options for sensitivity adjustment left.
wonder what my results would be with the TR @ 20.

All you have to do is trick the eyes some how. The eyes work in reverse order, if they see paint, it won't shoot. Make the eyes think that theres no paint in there when there really is paint in there.

and if I took off them?

Nothing, the eyes have to see eachother or it wont shoot.

Has anyone tried to use an OptoIsolator chip as eyes yet? I am really too busy to try, but if it does work, the whole chip would fit right in the grip. It's a Base 6 DIP package. Or you can just get an IR LED/Detector set package. I know they have that readily at Radio Shack.
When I have sometime, I'll be checking the pin out on the Fly eye connector. The only hard part is finding the thin connector that fits in there and still being able to solder the two components on.

The eyes have to see each other, if you unplug them that means they are not seeing each other and it wont shoot.

The eyes have to see each other
Common guys think about it. what can you use to make the eye see each other... I already know how
The riddle must be solved some how :bouncer:

Yes, anyone can take the eyes out and tape them together under the gun, but doesn't it look silly that way?
I am thinking of the putting the Opto Isolator in the grip frame. If there's is room, you can even put a small DPDT switch in there and switch between gun eyes and by-passing eyes at will.
I have no interest in doing this, but other people seem to want to.
Another solution is upgrading your board software to version 4.0, set rate of fire to 30, turn up TR all the way, shut eyes off, load paint and let the blender run. Maybe the Cheetah board for the Halo can keep up. They say it can feed 38bps.

Idea:
Take the eyes out of the body.
Keep the ribbon in the board.
Tape the eyes together.
Shoot paint.
Ill volenteer to do this, if someone buys me a new set of eyes.

You might, but its a chance Im willing to take, as long as someone donates a set of eyes to me. Mine broke and I can't afford new ones for a while.

I have attempted the Demo mode trick
I took my eyes out, and routed them from the board out through the grip frame. I taped them together, and verified that it passed the eye test. Then I strapped my Reloader B on there (bad move) and let it rip.
I found that whenever you really got on the trigger, the bolt's movement would block paint from entering the breech. I would have to stop pulling and let the balls fall. Get on it again, tons of misfires. Very few chops, though. Just took me about 20 seconds to empty the hopper.
Maybe this would work better with a Q-Loader.
