eye problem

ok, anyone ever just have their eyes die? I've got a set of the laser eyes, that well, just dont come on. You can turn the gun on and the sending side never lights up. I can shoot one ball about every 2 seconds. The ribbon is fine, no breaks, kinks, or tears. The two eyes are soldered fine, nothing broken. They did work then quit. I've already replaced them , with a new set that works fine, but i'd like to know what happened to these old ones.

loosen your eye covers. ive had the same problem and that solved it.

Are you sure they are lazer eyes?

^even better point^. are the stock eyes are aftermarket.... did the package say G7 or LAZER anywhere?

yea, they are the g7 eyes, they worked for awhile, then stopped.....no luck with the tension either....

Something wigged out in them. Every now and then there could be a bad set or a minor hit that severd the wire under the plastic cover. It happens. It they are dead grab a multimeter and see if they still have continuity.

What if they don't have continuity and the voltage to the emitter is less than 1 vdc?

the ribobn might have came out of the little spot in the bourd. see if u can push it in alittle.
