...If I recall correctly there was an older post on this being done by one of th eMT's...
...again for the adventurous "tinkerer", it can be done @ home as well..with the understanding that the results are entirely your doing ;)
...if and when the opportunity arrives I may try and post up some pix that will give you an idea...maybe even a vid clip (who can host?)...when the opportunity (time) arrives..

how much and was it worth it?
edit: oh and how exactly does the mag mod work? does it still need the leaf spring or is a whole different working?

I think it was abouy $45 but I am not sure because he charge me xtra because he had to mod the trigger it self and yea it was worth it, but you do know they take out the venier wheels. so its a little harder to adjust to your liking

...working on a info post, will get it up later...
..BUT...
..understand that this is not something I advocate anyone do, what I advocate is you send it to the MT's and get it done right with a proven product by proven providers...
..if you attempt what I post and you FUBAR, you WILL BE SPENDING MONEY to fix your mistake...and probably more than if you had just sent it to the MT's in the first place ;)

I AGREE on this quote... If you have no skills and think you might step on your own Board while leaving on floor.

LoL hey I just really wanted to know how to do your own mag mod with a slayer trigger or whatever you did it with.
Video Host (http://www.pbvidsupload.com)

this is of course when you have time. you can just pm me back with whatever you got or IM me. thanks.
..it was done on my daughters LE Pink A4 which came with the Slayer style trigger. I took some pix last night and will be u/l'ing them when I get the chance, but basically it is quite simple in concept..
..understand that the "mag mod" itself wasn't the only thing I did, I also bent the leaf spring a certain amount to achieve less resistance, but still provide "spring back" pressure to avoid uncontrollable bounce and retain reliability. Basically, the mag mod was to increase the reliability factor for the trigger to return to it's 'rest' position and reset the board for the next firing sequence. Many times when folks bend the leaf they 'over bend' it and although easier to 'pull' the trigger, it doesn't return enough to reset the board due to the lack of "spring back"...
...using the existing venier wheels, in the front wheel I drilled a hole in the deepest part of the spiral and placed a magnet in there. The front pin in the upper trigger body is steel, so it is attracted to the magnet. I super-glued the pin into the hole it fits in so it would not "pull out" because of the magnet. I chose the deepest part of the spiral because based on the location of the pivot point of the trigger assembly, gravity will help it return to “resting position” as well when held level…
…all adjustments are done via the rear venier wheel and TOE screw only, the front not utilized because magnet location requires it remain centered where the trigger body pin will contact it. I don’t find this to be a problem, as 2 points of adjustment are all that is required for your travel/over-travel…BUT, all of the adjustment functionality of the the front v-wheel has been retained due to the method the magnet was installed...
…I also believe there is a more efficient way to do it that is basically a "drop in" mod (it should be apparent by now  ), just haven’t followed up on it... I may not as this mod satisfied my curiosity which was the reason I “tinkered with it” in the first place. Besides, this isn't my marker, it's my daughter's... "Dad, quit messing with my marker!"
..remember, my recommendation is the MT mag mod, not this “tinkering”…I can afford to fix my FUBAR’s, you may not…
…oh, and for the doubters…I can get the board to register 24 rof easily enough, but we know that is suspect to begin with
..incidentially, no new parts we purchased, the magnet was re-cycled from a small jewlery box lid ;)...the only cost was time to do it

I like the way you did your MAd Mod, it almost looks like how I did it.
As you found out that the polarity is pretty strong on the Earth MAgnet and many folks ask how to adjusted the stiffness so
I put a adjustable screw on the front of the trigger.
I also added a extra screw on the front so that it hits the middle of the V-Wheel
it was making this metal to metal contact noise. trigger & gun noise..... After adding it and doing a trigger adjustment.. PERFECT very Crisspy
PM Me if any questions

....jay, slick looking work there :biggthump
...personally, my biggest objective was to preserve the integrity of the 'outward appearance' of my daughter LE pink A4, that's why I didn't add holes for adjustment screws in the trigger. I found that with a judicious amount of leaf spring bending, combined with the magetic strength of the 'recycled' magnet I used, it wasn't necessary (for my personal tastes). all adjustment required is accomplished with rear v-wheel and TOE screw (which is more precise than the v-wheels alone). in all honesty, you would never be able to tell the mod is there, visually, sound or feel...you'd only 'suspect' because of it's ROF ...can't use the Eggy anymore on it, too slow
..as always, there is always "more than one way to do something", as our "tinkering" shows ...
