First off, I just wanted to give out some kudos and atta-boys:
(1) To AOG for an excellent forum... awesome website y'all.
(2) To the AOG participants... you're feedback has been very insightful and rather entertaining. "Who could ask for anything more?"
(3) To the ever-righteous Ken Crane, Performance Angel Master Tech... the G7 you set up and shipped to me was jaw-dropping. I can't thank you enough for your help and outstanding service.
(4) To WDP... y'all rock. Period.
Secondly, I'll share briefly a little bit about... um... me and the G7 and why I praise it:
(1) Been playing woodsball for 2+ years with a stock A5 and freak barrel system. In that time I concentrated on refining non-equipment aspects (i.e. strategy, communication, and team-work).
(2) Played this past Saturday for the first time with the G7 in hand, and could not believe the impact the G7 had on my results in the woods. I won't be bragadocious, but it was a personal best. It felt awesome (and rather surprising to be honest) to put paint where I intended for it to go... a lot.
(3) Have wanted to get into speedball after watching a ton of X-Ball, NPPL, and other PB DVDs... and I really feel like practice and the G7 were the answers to fulfilling that desire.
(4) Talked my way into playing with the local SB team in Lynchburg, VA (Team Retribution). It was nice to have everyone admire the gun, but even moreso the invitation to scrimmage (more like "be target practice") in the future.
Finally, FYI here's the marker setup:
(1) Polished Black G7 tuned by The Master including trigger and setting adjustments, as well as magnet removal,
(2) Freak stainless steel back & black All-American front,
(3) Black Halo B,
(4) Silver & black Check-it uni-mount/ASA,
(5) Centerflag low pressure hyper flow regulator,
(6) 68ci 4500psi tank (no cover yet), and
(7) Chronic paint (oh-so-pretty-on-the-bad-guy pink).
Mucho gracias goes out to WDP, Smart Parts, Centerflag, Empire, Check-it, and Painted Forest Adventure Games http://www.painted-forest.com, and I think I'm in love with Ken Crane at http://www.performanceangel.com.
... will post eye-candy in the official pic thread soon.
