I think their other products have a pretty good reputation.

from the pics on their website it looks like it sticks off the front of the body, so that once its installed it will look like an evolve kit lpr. if that is how it is setup i dont think you will be able to set your lpr then check it with the pressure gague, itl be more of a guess.

Seems more of burden and a cost liability than a real efficient modification.

I have a viking, and have used both the original lpr, and an SCM. (the STD LPR's older brother) Haven't had any problems with them. As far as checking pressure, you could still do it. You'd have to pull the plug on the air passage between the tubes. Get a ffitting and hook it up to a gauge. It is a bit of extra effort, but possible.

I have never had a prob with mine but just want to know what people thought of the STD, always looking for something to make my gun rip even faster.

This is what AOG'ers had to say about it when I brought the topic up: http://www.angel-owners.com/showthread.php?t=37364&
Former AKA guys, the low pressure experts.
By the way guys - If we never tried to "fix" something that wasn't "broken", then there wouldn't be something called progress  . We'd all be shooting 1st generation Angels.
Just my $0.02.

by fix something that isnt broken i meant it as more of a.... i was just saying that my lpr has never given me a problem, and i dont notice any shootdown. the way i see it id rather be spending the 70 bucks on a case of paint.

Truly the defining factor in paintball. Think about it, if paint were cheaper, wouldn't we all play more often?

You know how they say each gun is different. This might give others an option to run at different settings. Who knows? I wouldn't knock it until I hear more about it.

I found some really cheap paint, called stingers. 38 bucks a case, I'm playing tomorrow so I will let you guys know in the most appropreate forum. It is made by pmi which is good in my book, it has clearish pink or orange (depends on what you bought) fill, but still easy to see fill, clear shell. I wanna get the std lpr, its easy to adjust, although I don't know how you'd get a reading without moving the hoses around like previously mentioned.
