whats the difference between the 03 and 04 speeds??? if any..

the early 03 speeds have a 3v solinoid and the later 03's and all the 04's have a 6v solinoid. Or the other way around, i forget sometimes.

because the solinoid/battery combo was causing dropoff or sumtin like that. and with this one the problem was fixed...

some people (and i'll bet it was very few) experienced first shot drop off because of the difference in voltages between the battery (4.8v) and solenoid (6v). i'm guessing the solenoid needed just a tiny bit more juice to get going with that first shot, and the battery couldn't always provide it. after that first shot, i don't think there were any problems. WDP being the perfectionists they were, noticed this and replaced the noid with the 3v model and thus have solved that problem.
