Hey guys Need a little help here. I Just Bought a JD Fly from a memeber of AOG and I used it for the first time today and there seems to be some sort of problem when in Semi Mode (mode 1) with the angel eyes on. First off this marker the 4.0 software and has the Lazer eyes. I am using a Halo B with a V35 Victory board set on the highest setting, and with the hopper on and the marker in live with the angel eyes on it will not fire with every trigger pull. But if i switch the eyes off the thing Rips. I know that the eyes are functioning because they are lazer eyes and i can see them, and also i do the eye test and it passes every time. I have also removed the eyes to check and make sure that they are not dirty, and they are perfectly clean. I am kinda at a loss here any suggestions will help. :notsure:
Settings are as follows:
Dwell: 9
TR: 5
Hopper: SFast
Lpr: 60
Mrof: 30

try using bright paintballs
clean your eye beam
make sure your hopper has new batteries and can keep up with the MROF

I tried several differnet paintballs
Eyes are spotless
Brand new bats in the halo

Thanks Ken,
But i dont belive it is the LPR becasue I can turn the eyes off and it rips,
alos today I put it on Mode 3 (psp ramp) and i get the same thing with the eyes on it will not even start to ramp but when i turn the eyes off it will hit 15bps with out a chop. So with that in mind i know my hopper should be keeping up. I also tried to reposition my halo in the feedneck by bringing it as tight to the bottom as possible and alos as close to the top as possible and having the halo closer to the top seemed to improve the rof with the eyes on. Is it possible that I am having an issue of the paint not seating correctly. the marker has the stock feedneck and the softface bolt.

double check the lpr recharge rate, the ball in place software will slow the gun down with the eyes on and not with the eyes off. if that isnt the case it probabley has a slow 14 way.

...a little advice, just send the marker in to Ken and I guarantee you it will be resolved to your satisfaction ;)
...don't let the cost of sending it become a detractor, by sending USPS Express, can't run you more than $30 which includes the additional insurance for total marker value...
...I'd call him and see what his schedule is like so you can estimate how long total time your marker will be away (ship to, fix, ship back), but believe me, in the short and long run, this is the best way to deal with it, both money and time wise...
...you want to avoid being "nickel & dimed to death" by letting some local w/questionable tech skills keep working on it and/or shipping it back & forth to someone other than the MT's or other qualified/certified (by WDP) techs...
..do it right the first time, it may be the only time you have to...

So did you ever get this problem fixed, Cuz I'm having the same dame problem now before the program was installed on my fly?
before the program, I use to hit 30 bps without a problem,
now with the 4.0 program on mode 1, deepest i can reach is 14-16 bps with eye off.... any ideas
The "eye off" maximum rate of fire is now capped at 15bps and programmable up to 30bps with "eyes on."
