appears to be a bad battery to me...that happend to me when i bought mine used and a new battery fixed it. Are you using the correct charger? hmm something else came to my head....is the trigger set back too far that its past the activator?

you had the gun switched on when you were charging, right? cuz i needs to be to charge properly. Did you charge it all the way to completion, so you get the single red led blinking slowly? that's how you konw that it's charged all the way; the four hours is just an estimate. And as cheezit was saying make sure that your trigger toe screw isn't too far in, or the gun won't fire, though the single green led will blink after it boots when you turn it on. that wouldn't explain the shutting off though...

whenever u charge it the gun has to be on, if it only cascades once or twice ur gonna have to turn on the car to use battery power, and yes whenever a single green light is on you are ready to fire

if the trigger is adjusted too far in (ie, always in the "fired" position) and you turn on your marker, it'll go through the regular boot sequence to the blinking green led, but won't fire because the trigger isn't being returned to the "ready" position. back the toe screw out and see if that helps.

Simple checks:
1) Single green flashing led when trigger pulled - trigger not activating the opto switch - adjust toe screw in
2) Three green flashing leds when trigger not pulled - trigger activating opto switch to early - adjust toe screw out
3) On power-up, battery light flickers then gun shuts down (even after a full charge with gun switched ON) - battery fried - replace with a NEW battery
Hope that helps

im not sure if this voids your warranty but you should check first. Just unscrew the grip cover and unscrew the board inside. be careful not to unplug any wires. Take out the board and turn the marker on. Try firing it by pressing in the metal leaf spring. If if starts to fire normally then its a trigger adjustment you need to adjust...if still nothing happens then its a battery problem or something else...make sure the three wires are plugged in tight.

that wouldn't void the warranty, and would be a good check to make sure your board is working

its most likely your battery but could be your board too :( i don't know..perhaps you should send it to ken krane so he can fix it for you so you don't end up buying a new battery and it doesn't fix your problem.
