i have a question. The bolt is delrin and is supposedly not supposed to scratch and it is supposed to lube/oil(watever it is) itself. well after todays practice. i came back and saw that my breach and bolt are scratched up. I also was wondering, the bolt doesnt look lubed or oiled at all. i just bought it at super 7. but do i have to buy something to lube my gun wit? or should it already come lubed? i already used love juice and i took the bolt out before i put the love juice in the asa. and if i do have to lube my bolt can i use dow33? im not sure.

don't put oil on your bolt. the bolt will swell if you do.

I have in the family three angels: two speed 05's and an LCD and all three have a little bit of scratching on the end of the bolt and likewise a little bit in the bore where the bolt moves across it. It is my opinion that this is perfectly normal.

don't put any oil on your bolt...the scratches are normal...no need for hope

The scratches come from foreign matter being in the breech like dirt or dust. Oiled or not you will never stop the possibility of scratches and as it has been said, don't oil your bolt. Well actually you can oil you bolt. Do what you're going to do but remember, it's suggested to not oil your bolt because it will swell so if you oil your bolt you know the side effect ahead of time.

Delrin is a "self lubing" material, however that doesn't mean you are going to see the bolt "sweating" lube or physically see anything coming from the bolt

the bolt lubes itself not the debris that is in your breech..the world isnt perfect and you dont play in a bubble and therefore dirt will get in there.

So does that also go for not lubing the soft face bolt. I think your not supposed to lube it but im just making sure.

Yes the soft face is included in the no lube policy.

Bottom line, if the exterior of the bolt is made from anything other than metal, don't lube.
