The Hybrid Hedlok K2 looks like this:

And the Redz like this:

Personally I like the Hybrid better...
They are both like the Smart Parts QLock.
just wondering but why do you hate the stock feed neck? I love mine. Just make sure you have the right size o-rings in it.

i do, its a pain to take on and off, i gotta screw it on so tight, and went i dive into the snake my hopper still spins, and its quite annoying. almost everytime i take the hopper off, and im sooo careful, the oring pop out and stuff. i just dislike it a lot

I use the check-it low rise on my speed and G-7. Works really well and FMA has them in multiple colors.

I had Check-it's on all 4 of my markers, but once I replaced my Impulse feedneck with a QLock I now know that is a superior design.
The Hybrid is as close to the design as possible, except I don't think it has the rough teeth in the feedtube for extra grip. I will at least replace both the Angel's with that brand feedneck (if I can find them instock). What makes them superior is the fact that you can take the hopper off within seconds without tools. The stock O-ring compression types simply cannot be clamped down hard enough to prevent hopper spin, and the Check-It/CCM types require an allen tool...

the check it has rough teeth to keep the hopper in place better?

No the Check It's don't, but the Smart Parts QLock's do... I wish they would make one with Angel threads.

i have never had a problem with my stock feed neck. the trick on the stock feed necks is to use the right o-rings. for my egg i have to alternate between the large and small rings in the stack. i actually had a Check It that i sold to my friend with a flyd speed and he loves it.

i know what you mean about the stock feedneck being too tight. the trick is to find the right ones. i have an un-sanded reloader-b and the smallest o-rings on my feedneck. works like a charm. i used to have a combination of large and small but it was too much of a pain to take the hopper off the gun. i was always worried about the rings being too tight and one of them bending down the feedneck. now i have no worries. just alternate which ones will feel best, you should have no problems. the guns come with multiple o-rings just for this reason. size it out to perfection.

yea. it only takes a few minutes to find the right size o rings for whatever hopper you want to run on your speed. plus the stock feedneck looks the best.

If you play tourney ball, just wait until you get into a situation where your halo cone breaks, the motor breaks, or the board is acting funky... Or on the Egg when the battery door breaks, or any part of the loader is busted...and your team gets called up to play again and you have to borrow a teammates hopper... Where were those O-rings again?
The other senario is when you are playing on the field and there is a jam that your halo rip drive just can't unjam and you need to take hopper off... Where was that darn allen wrench (if you are even allowed to bring tools on the field)???
The cam-type hopper feednecks are just the next evolutionary step up.
For those that use the stock feednecks, you guys must be the ones that sit in the back bunker...because if you do any sort of diving with a full hopper full of balls they will just spin... and I laugh every time I go to a tournament and see it first hand or on the paintball bloopers reels...

ya thats what happens to me, i use the smallest oring with my empire b, no matter how tight i get it it still spins /comes out sometimes, and i hate it with a passion

the stack that i am using works with eggs and halos. all i have to do is twist and its loose. i have also taken a few dives without any rotation from the hopper. my feedneck will unscrew before my o-rings give out...its happened before.

ya, im just sick of this feedneck and wanna loctite something in there, but not this, almost everytime i dive, it unscrews or hopper spins, its sooo scratched from falling off

if your empire slips out when you are using the small o-rings then use the thicker ones. my stock neck held my empire in perfect.

i cant, if i use the thicker ones it wonts fit

All about the CCM
Check It's are CCM knock-offs, so they are very similar. Except Check It's come in many colors, so that is probably more appealing to most.
I just bought the Hybrid feedneck. I am a little disappointed about the fact that you cannot fit an unsanded Halo neck into it without sanding it down... On my Check It you could and Q-Lock you could...
If Check It would just come out with a Cam Locking mechanism that would be the end all... Or if Smart Parts would come out with an Angel threaded version, even better.
