I took a little break from ballin' to keep a head up in school. I've totally lost track of everything. I need to find out what this G7 is...

Try browsing a couple of the threads, you'll figure out what it is.

Yeah, I just checked in out on the WDP site. Looks pretty badass.

so what would happen if I used a high pressure tank in it, if i turned my velocity screw down low enough, would it be safe to use?

the problem with HP on these newer LP guns is that you may not be able to get below 300fps. most people solve this issue by doin a "minireg mod" but it is still recommended you use LP on a g7

You can do the reg mod if you only have hp tank. However, the way I see it, you've just forked out almost $1500 for a marker that requires $50 a case of paint say per weekend you play, why skimp on a tank and use your old tank for your automag instead of buying a new tank.

I dunno hey, I've been using a HP tank and had no problems. I just took out a few shims and it worked sweet. My recharge rate at the LP was much better than guys using angel air. LP is "safer" but i've not had a single problem and been using it since the launch.

The manual says you can use HP but LP is optimal.

It'll work just fine. I was running a HP tank on my G7 for a bit without a single issue.
