Ok, I have an 05 Speed, and I am waiting on the JD G7 to come out, but I am still unsure if I should spend the money. I want to know if it is worth $1400.

if you have a speed05 you dont need a g7.

Smokey the Bear says, "Only you..." I happen to agree. Is the hefty price tag worth it for you? For me the price was worth the gamble and the gamble paid off. I love my G-7 more than my speed 05 but that's just me.

You have a Speed 05 and you're thinking about getting a G7?
Can't get any better than this to learn about the exact differences: http://www.jfearing.com/G7/
That there will tell you all you need to know.
I owned a Speed 05. I like the G7 much better. Why? You'll see the reasons listed in that link. Our very own Sparco did that write up.

owned both, there is no real comparision. the hands down winner is the g7, that is if you can afford the g7.

That is an amazing review.
I don't think the differences are worth the 500+ dollar price difference - but that is just me.

if you can afford the g7 go for it but if you want to save money the speed 05 is a great alternative

When does the JD G7 come out? And are you sure it will only be 1400 when the originals are that?

Since the jd version has not come out yet there's nothing set in stone as far as differences.

the jd will probly have the normal g7 design with the black to yellow or gold fade and the tattooo on the side, most likely just be few changes, such as trigger and frame design/milling, nothing internally, because nothing could be better

nothing could be better :cheers:Oh, I'm quite sure just as the LCD blew the LED out of the water and the IR3 blew the LCD out of the water, etc... the next marker produced by WDP will be nothing short of spectacular. In some ways the inovation is taking a turn to smaller increases in performance vs large jumps as has been seen in the past but every little increase in performance counts. Look at a stock G-7 compared to a stock LED. While they are both electropneumatic markers their differences are like night and day.
