ya pretty simple install. althowe i did have to bend the conectors a little to get it to fit back in other than tha no problems installing it. and its a good bit faster than the stock motor.

Anyone have any problems with paint breaking at the higher speeds though?? I'm going to be running the hyper dash motor with a victory board.... at setting 6 there's a lot pressure that would be on the paint it seems. Haven't tested it with paint because I need a new shell first.

just curious if 30K would be tooo fast....I found a bunch of motors a my local RC place that they just got in.....3/32 motor and it spins 30K :D considering that the hyperdash does 19 +/- K with no load

If you have a Hobbytown USA near you check for a Hyperdash 2 motor or even better, a plasmadash motor. I think the Hyperdash 2 is like $10 and the plasmadash is like $20. I even have a motor that would be the first step in being able to feed 100bps that turns at 300,000rpms however put even the slightest load on it and it's high rpm's are lost.

ep you should experiment with this plasmadash

I have, and it WILL burn out the stock FETs on your Halo board. A WAS board is a necessity, it's the only one I'm aware of that can handle the huge current draw of the Plasma Dash.

How do you get the gear off the old motor shaft, to put on the new hyper dash?

I just used one I found inside an old CD drive, it was black and plastic. You could use the puller tool found on www.atomicmods.com. I'd say drop by a hobby shop and see if you can get anything, bring the motor with you.

ok, so the plasma dash is too much, the hyperdash is at 19,300 rpm, how about the power dash or sprint dash?
