I had heard someone say that they had an incredibly thick LPR shim in their speed 05 a few months ago. Generally when I hear this I assume the person's shims are stuck together. Tonight while lubing my G-7 I saw there was only one shim in my lpr and is was about the thickness of two G-7 shims which by themselves are about twice the thickness of standard shims. I thought it was a little odd. Believe me I tried to get them apart thinking that they were stuck together I asked my roommate/teammate if he could stparate them. It was one shim and incredibly thick. No problem here merely an observation and information in case other members encounter this.
