some people have problems, some don't, there's really no way to tell other than try it and see. you may find it breaks your sensi pad, or you may be lucky. if it does break it, you can try filing down the sensi rod a bit, so it puts less force on the pad (after replacing it).
or you can do like i do and use a Z-egg and never have a problem. however, my fingers aren't super fast, and some people are fundamentally against eggs...

Works for me, but i dont even use Sensi... So, it doesnt really matter. Last time i played w/o sensi, i didnt get one break all day w/ my Halo... But... My speed is also perfect :)

You dont even really have to file the sensi rod down, you can adjust how much force the halo b, or reloader b feeds the paint into the gun, just turn the force down a bit.

I just used my new halo on my 04 speed today for the first time. I did not even use the sensi and I did not get a single chop. Just to see how much pressure the halo puts out, I took the hopper off and filled it with paint then stuck my hand over the feed tube and turned it on. It really does not put that much pressure on the stack at all. It barely felt like more then just the weight of a normal gravity feed hopper. I really dont think that much pressure could crack the sensi plate.
Just adjust your ram so you dont get rollback, and make sure your dedents are working good, and you won't have a problem.

Hey guys I had some similar problems after I put on a Halo, but I have also had the same problem once before when I had my Egg on. I'm actually not sure if it's a hopper problem at all though.
Yesterday after I turned on the gun it would shoot about five balls, and then stop shooting even after I kept pulling the trigger. I would wait about 10 seconds and pull the trigger again and it would shoot a few balls and then stop again. I tried it with both SENSI on and off and it had the same symtoms. Any ideas? I'm a college grad but not smart when it comes to teching a gun. I thought with SENSI off it would shoot no matter what but it still had the same symptoms.
Also with my Halo on it seemed to bounce, I'd pull the trigger and three or four balls would shoot out. I have a tourney soon and can't have that happening. Any ideas on that would be great too.
All stock with mode 2, about 10ms Dwell, medium volumizer, dye titanium 12" boomstick

For those that have had a problem with Halos and those that have not, what are your settings?
I tried a Halo on my 04 speed the other day with brittle paint. About two hoppers and nothing broke. I am sure I need more testing before I can say that my speed is halo friendly but it is encouraging at least.
I am running sensi mode 3 and a max bps of around 16ish (either the last orange dot or the first red, I cannot remember what I set it at).
Other than that, everything is default to the best of my knowledge.

fyi, Quckling, the MROF does nothing when you have sensi on, which it appears that you do...

It's not the speed of the angel - it's the pressure of the balls put on to the sensi rod by the halo.
It can break the pad underneath the rod. Try with sensi turned off - or put a 'z' egg on there.
See if that helps :)

Will the reloader/halo crack the sensi plate immediately or is this something that happens over a period of time? I just got a Reloader B about 2 weeks ago and im not having any trouble with sensi as of yet.

some people have problems, some don't. if you haven't yet, you might be in the clear... or you may not, you just have to wait. no problems, no worries...

when you guys were reffering to the sensi plate, is it really called the sensi sensor? because I was looking at the sponsor angel parts and they didnt have a sensi plate/sensi pad. :dunno:

yeah, same thing... sensi has two parts: the Sensor/pad/plate and the Rod. nobody should really need to replace the rod ever...

You dont even really have to file the sensi rod down, you can adjust how much force the halo b, or reloader b feeds the paint into the gun, just turn the force down a bit.
Uh, how do you adjust the force of how the halo b or reloader feeds?... i didn't know this was possible.

you adjust the sensitivity of the eyes, not the actual force that the halo delivers. when you lower the sensitivity the halo doesnt try and feed when the stack of balls in the feedtube shift a little everytime you move your marker.lowering the sensitivity makes the halo wait until the paint moves enough to indicate that the gun has definately been fired.
to adjust the sensitivity turn the dial on the small chip located on the top center of the halo board. i forget which way to turn the dial but a simple "finger test" (put your finger in the bottom of the feedtube and wiggle it) will tell you if youve lowered or raised the sensitivity.
this has been outlined before so if you need/want more info on the adjustment do a search and it should answer most/all of your questions
