well i fixed it at the field but i still have a few question, ok anyhow my gun was shooting fine for a little bit, i put about a bag through it already and it seemed to be perfroming well, then while i was playing my paint started to drop of at like 20 feet i was like wtf :notsure: , then i went to badlands and they said turn up your dwell, so i did to 14 and then it went away, but my question is, why would it do this all of a sudden?? o and yes my battery was FULLY CHARGED

Its the heat I think. My gun was fine all weak but as you know we had like 100 degree heat in texas this weak. My lpr was pretty low and when the air gets hot its less dense causing the drop off. It cant recharge fast enough and thats why one or two shots shoot ok then drops off.

I originally upped my input pressure when it was about 90 degrees outside. We played on a shaded field and it was fine. Then we went out onto an open field and it was about 102 degrees outside. I dropped from consistant 280fps +/- 3 fps to 150/180fps with about 10fps difference. I upped my dwell from 1 orange to 2 orange and that helped a little. I added 1 shim to the lpr an problem solved but my input pressure is at about 325 and lpr at 4 bar so I have a little kick. My dwell is high also. The gun kicks and chops.

What Im going to do and you may want to try also is go out in the hot sun, start with your input pressure setting around 225 or so then adjust your lpr and dwell from there. Chronograph with the same paint you plan to shoot and that can be your hot weather setup.

On a side note, two of my buddies 05 speeds had the shut down problem because of the heat. One had it earlier and version 6 of the software eleminated it. The other with version 3 is still having problems.

well im in the uk so it wont have been that hot - thinking it might have been the air setup i was running that day...

i wil be able to tell in a few weeks once my university education comes to a close *hooray*

Something I discovered upon break down of my marker was a bad connection on the switched wire. I cut it off stripped it resoldered it and problem solved. I lowered my dwell again an lowered my lpr.
