dye throttle

ok tomorrow im buyin a dye throttle tank that the guy says is LP but my friend who shoots a dm5 says that dye doesnt make lp tanks only hp...so if it actually is hp and i use it on my flied angel 4 (my gun has a cp reg on it) will there be any velocities problems or does the cp reg not fix it ???

DO NOT BUY A DYE THROTTLE. They have wicked slow recharge rates, and you WILL notice drop off at anythig above 20bps. If you are set on a preset then get either a crossy or a mac dev leigonair. And yes you will need to do the minireg mod if you still want this tank, dye only makes hp. The cp reg will clear up velocity problems until the tank can't keep up, then you will see major velocity drop off. Out of most major tank manufacturers the dye performs the worst. It looks nice, but people can't see with paint all over their mask so just get the best performing tank. The two I mentioned before are the BEST presets available, we will need to see how the reball ceasair performs, its supposed to be very good when it gets released.
