What software upgrades is ther for an 01-02 LCD

You cannot upgrade a LCD board. The only thing you can do is put extra firing modes on it via a data Link that WDP made years ago. They are getting harder to find, but a MT might have one hanging around.

If you want to "upgrade" your board, there is always the Fly conversion where you get eyes installed along with a Fly board or Euro board. i just bought a 2001 lcd angel about a week ago. Absolutly love it nothing better. When i got it, it had all firing modes unlocked. Well, when i was messing with it i accidently reset the board. Now i can not access the other firing modes(its stuck on b) and my cycle count went back to zero and my id number changed. I can still use it and it works great but i wouldn't mind using the firing modes once and a while, anybody know how to get them back?

did u take the time to read what thog had said? he told you how to go about it.

b is the mode that you want any way the rest are capped at 13 bps and mode b has the max rate of fire at 20. so don't worry about it

you can actually set the ROF to 20 on fullauto if you do it with the data link.

but if you try to change it from 20 again you must do so with the data link otherwise it will get stuck on auto ROF 3 (i think) until you connect it to the computer again and change it (although it will be a little trickier this time)

just curious, but is there any way to change the ROF on the other modes? (I'm happy with B, but i've been thinking of making a link cable thing, since i've got the Sexy Angel Software somewhere around here)

yes u can set ROF on 20 atleast on auto... but when u change back the ROF after that u must do it through the datalink cable.... otherwise it will "crash" and get stuck on ROF 3 until u do as it says on "crash help" on sexy angel....

and sexy angel doesn't work all that well with XP u have to use the hyperterminal if u want to do it in XP

But if you put it on auto (mode A I think) and set the ROF you can still change mode to mode B without the board crashing..... and you can from mode B change the mode b-ROF without crashing.... since the auto ROF and semi ROF are two different settings....but I would only use AUTO ROF 20 with reball since there's no eye...

yeah, I might still give it a shot if I ever manage to build the link system.. eventually I'll be dropping in a UN1 board since I might actually be on a team soon, so this is a nice little side project (among quite a few others!)
