Ok...so I read the thread on makin a mini-reg gauge to ensure a reading of 300 or more psi to adjust my lpr (just wnated to tinker for the sake or learning more) I adjusted my lpr down to about 40 from 55 and need to check for shoot down (obviously)...So I have to chrono at 280-300fps to get an accurate reading or outcome right????

Thanks in advance

The recommended LPR pressure is 60-65psi, as this will allow you to run a lower dwell for a higher ROF.

But yes you did everything correctly so far, just chrono in and rip a couple strings.

One thing I like to do is shoot beside the chrono, and then without stopping snap one over the chrono, then over the side, then over the chrono again.

This will give a nice indication of any change in FPS.
